After the cliffhanger ending of Chapter 3, players will once again team up with Poppy, facing brand new challenges and terrifying creatures.

The teaser trailer, released on Mob Entertainment's YouTube channel, revealed a January 2025 release window on Steam. Get ready for what the developers promise to be the darkest chapter yet, full of spooky imagery and mind-bending puzzles!

Teaser Trailer and New Monsters

The teaser gives a glimpse into the horrifying depths of the Playtime Co. factory. EXpect to see blood-soaked floors, boxes scattered everywhere, and the most unsettling sight of all – giant piles of what were once children, now transformed into disfigured toys.

But that's not all. Chapter 4 introduces the Nightmare Critters, a new breed of terrifying foes! The trailer showcases Baba Chops, a creepy black sheep toy who doesn't hesitate to violently attack other toys. Mob Entertainment's X (formerly Twitter) account has already revealed other members of the Nightmare Critters, including Icky Licky, Rabie Baby, Allister Gator, Simon Smoke, Poe, and Touille – each one more unsettling than the last!

The Story So Far

For those who are new to the series, Poppy Playtime is a first-person horror puzzle game set in the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory. Ten years after the mysterious disappearance of all its workers, the player, receiving a mysterious VHS tape, embarks on a terrifying journey to uncover the truth. Chapter 4 picks up right where Chapter 3 left off, with Kissy Missy's tragic fate adding another layer of emotional depth to an already dark and twisted tale.
