Who is Zeb Orrelios?
Zeb, aka Garazeb Orrelios, is a major player in Star Wars Rebels and you might even recognize him from The Mandalorian! He's a Lasat warrior and part of the Ghost crew who helped form the Rebel Alliance against the Empire. In the years after The Galactic Civil War, he is a trainer for the New Republic.
How Did Zeb Get So Powerful?
- He was once part of the Lasat Honor Guard and knows how to wield that powerful Bo-rifle. Sadly, his species went through a rough time! The Empire destroyed their homeworld and that is where he found his purpose! It made him a fierce warrior!
- He met the Jedi and joined the Ghost crew to take down the Empire. These were the best days!
- Even when things got rough, they kept the fight alive and, after the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance grew into the New Republic - with the Ghost crew by its side!
How Did He Make It Into The Mandalorian?
We got to see Zeb's first live-action appearance in The Mandalorian Season 3! He was back at it, fighting with the New Republic to take on this space pirate Gorian Shard who attacked Nevarro,
Even the trailers show Zeb back with the Mandalorian and Grogu! It's all gonna go down with a great The Mandalorian & Grogu movie! He has a bit part in it - but he gives those guys the help they need.
Why Does The Show Give Him Such A Big Role?
- Fans totally love him. Zeb's become a big part of the Star Wars universe since those Star Wars Rebels episodes. It’s fun to see characters we already know appear in these other Star Wars stories - it makes it more epic.
- There was a lot of love in Star Wars Rebels, which makes us excited. He always went the extra mile. Even after those epic events from the Clone Wars era! We are definitely excited about his upcoming stories.
- This guy's been there from the Star Wars Rebels timeline - even after Rebels, which wrapped up after the original trilogy, his appearance means he had to find his way back! It shows those battles were not just for those who lived in a galaxy far, far away, but for all of Star Wars, overall.
With his recent appearance in The Mandalorian, Zeb's got even more spotlight. And guess what? There might be more to see with his adventures in this new show, so we are keeping a close eye out for it!
Zeb's one of those fan favorite characters - maybe a fan theory is about to get even more wild! His story ties into Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian - and is all happening during the New Republic era after the Empire has been taken down. The best thing? With new episodes coming out and new stories unfolding. We might get to hear even more about Zeb - maybe we will get some epic action. Those Lasat warriors - they always bring it.
