What is Dream Productions: Inside Out Spin-Off?
Get ready for another look inside the amazing Inside Out universe because there is a new show coming to Disney+ in 2025: Dream Productions! It is a brand-new Inside Out spin-off taking place in between the original movie and Inside Out 2! We are about to get some really unique insights into what's going on in Riley's mind, as she grows up from a young kid into a teenager.
What’s So Special About This Show?
The Inside Out cast has always been fantastic, with those awesome voice actors that give Joy, Fear, Anger, Sadness and Disgust life. This is super cool since Dream Productions will bring them back, but it's also going to be very different because of this super unique take. It's going to be super interesting - it’s something Pixar hasn't really done before!
When Is Dream Productions Coming Out?

Wait - What Did Riley Say About "Dream Productions"?
- Kensington Tallman, the Riley actor - gave us some insight about what they're cooking up for Inside Out. They even had to check in to get their thoughts! They mentioned that each scene is truly spectacular because it’s created in this special way, and that it will feel like something no one has seen from Pixar before!
We don't have much information about Dream Productions, yet. All we really know is that it’ll have some really fresh, unique aspects, and it’ll take place between those two films that people love! Even though Inside Out has given us some awesome animated movies, fans really want to dive even deeper into the emotions inside Riley's head!
Will Dream Productions Focus On Dreams?
That's what the name makes us think. It sounds awesome!
- The first Inside Out film gave us so many awesome details about what it’s like for a young girl as she’s growing up. We saw all the awesome emotions at work, including Joy, Fear, Anger, Sadness, and Disgust. There was so much good stuff with the original, that a show with new storylines for those same characters sounds awesome!
- You can’t beat the Inside Out franchise - which we've seen in the original Inside Out movie! But a whole new show about this super special world is something new - and it might just make fans so happy.
Is Inside Out 2 Actually Happening?
We're about to head into another big world from the Inside Out world. But we haven't heard much yet, but if the whole cast and creators are back on board for Dream Productions, then this means we can hope that Inside Out 2 will happen!
But for now, the big news is the upcoming Dream Productions show on Disney+, - we will have to wait for more details about it, including the storyline! We have some awesome animated projects for sure, and they're totally worth keeping your eyes on!
