Every New, Returning and Recast Character in Inside Out 2 Voice Cast
Recasting major characters, adding fresh emotions, and including numerous returning classic voice performers, the Inside Out 2 cast is Inside Out 2's narrative follows up with a teenage Riley contesting with a lot of new feelings after the original Inside Out Movie documented the changing emotions of 11-year-old Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) as she fought to adapt to her parents moving her to a new city. Along with resurrecting fan favorites from the original movie, the sequel includes fresh personified emotions as anxiety and envy.

Riley from Kensington Tallman
Actor: Kensington Tallman is a young Denver born actress born on August 6, 2008. She raised in Los Angeles and New York City after birth in Denver. Kyle MacLachlan as Riley's Dad: Bill Anderson is Riley's dad and the husband of Riley's mom. He plays a big role in the first movie, as his new job is the catalyst for Riley's family's move. He is portrayed by Kyle MacLachlan, who is best known for his roles in Desperate Housewives and Twin Peaks.
John Ratzenberger as Fritz: John Ratzenberger’s reprisal of the role of Fritz returns one of Pixar’s oldest traditions. The Journey of Riley
Audiences were first introduced to Riley as a young girl who was navigating the challenges that came with her family's big move to San Francisco. Viewers got to become familiar with Riley's life experiences through the personification of her emotions. In Inside Out 2, Riley was recast which makes sense given that she is now a bit older than she was in the original film. In the sequel, Riley is faced with the difficulties of becoming a teenager and the new emotions that are associated with coming of age.
Inside Out 2 has already been able to prove that it is going to absolutely nail a complicated storyline that involves Riley growing up. The story’s shift to this part of her life seems like it’s going to be a wild ride.
The Heart and Soul of Inside Out 2
Joy is regarded as the leader of the group of emotions, which includes herself, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger. However, when Anxiety and her friends move in to headquarters, Joy is thrown for a loop and has to figure out a way to keep helping Riley while dealing with Anxiety.
Sadness, Riley's bleakest and dreariest emotion, is once again voiced by Smith in the Inside Out 2 cast. As fans recall, Sadness went head-to-head with Joy in the first film as they disagreed on how to help Riley adapt to the move from Minnesota to San Francisco. Ultimately, Sadness and Joy got past their differences, and they will likely work together when Anxiety arrives at headquarters and changes everything.
