Making him a walking, talking, god-killing Necrosword!
This new power is what brought Gorr into the fight against Jean Grey. This really speaks to her incredible status, because he basically views her as a god. Now Jean Grey is known as the Phoenix and that makes her an undeniable target!
The All-Black Necrosword:
Let’s rewind a bit to understand why Gorr is so ticked off. The All-Black Necrosword is this crazy powerful weapon that is more than just metal. Its origin goes way back!
- It’s the first Necrosword, made by Knull!
- He’s the ultimate King in Black.
- This was created from the very first Symbiote and some cosmic energy!
Thor faced off against him once! But absorbing All-Black didn't get rid of Gorr entirely. Turns out the weapon bonded so hard with Gorr that he became basically one with All-Black, which made it pretty much unavoidable to stop him completely! Gorr even sums it up well! "All-Black is me, I am All-Black."
Jean Grey's Powerful Fight:
Here’s why Jean Grey is so important! She wields the Phoenix Force. This makes her like, a cosmic deity, that holds immense power! Gorr going after Jean Grey proves just how far he is willing to go in order to unleash his rage.
It’s not just Gorr either! Getting into this serious action-packed fight. The Galactic Council is watching and it looks like they have seen just enough! With someone like Gladiator of the Shi'ar on this Council. Things just might heat up a little too much!
The Impact Of The Phoenix:
Jean Grey might face Gorr, but what happens afterward will determine so much for the universe. Gorr has some serious might this time and to face Gorr it's apparent Jean Grey needs the full Phoenix Force. It could have massive repercussions.
Will she defeat him? Sure! It just might solidify how powerful this hero really is.
