The Best Fight Scene Took This Long To Happen From Wild That The Boys Season 4
The fourth season of The Boys, episode 7 at last fulfilled years of yearning for a full-bodied, no-holds-barred conflict between The Boys and The Seven. Realistically, though, it was about time! Although the show features some amazing action highlighting all kinds of wild supe powers, this fight was on entirely different level.
The Boys has gained recognition over the series for its dark humor, keen political commentary, and deft reworking of superhero clichés. Although the show has included some epic fight scenes, they have never fully shown the possibilities of having The Boys go head-to-head with The Seven as a team. This time, everything was war.
In the fourth Boys Season, the Seven Actually Fight as Teams.
Hughie, Billy Butcher, and Starlight find The Deep waiting for them when they get back to their office in episode 7. Things get rapidly more intense when The Deep finds Black Noir's replacement supe prowling about. The battle is raging! Eventually, Mother's Milk and A-Train enter the fray and The Boys and The Seven engage in a full-scale team fight. Fans had been waiting for just this!
It's shocking that it took so long for two opposing teams—the good guys and the bad guys—to square off against one another for a show centered on both. Before now, it was always a small group of The Boys opposing one supe. This was all hands on deck. The fight had a simply amazing scope.
The Boys fought superhero teams more frequently in the comic books.
The fact that this team fight took so long may surprise comic book buffs. The Boys fight a team of supes rather early on in the original comics. The Teenage Kix team. It was thus a somewhat lost chance in the show. Season 4 is at last correcting for it, though.
Though they were not full-fledged team conflicts, we have seen other fierce battles including the confrontation with Hughie, Butcher, Soldier Boy, and Homelander in season 3 or the invasion of Tek Knight's mansion. This struggle was quite another animal.
The fifth Boys Season calls for a proper boys against seven team fight.
Although season 4 tasted what it's like to see The Boys and The Seven go head-to-head, season 5 has to be all out. Every single member of both teams needs a fight with each other. Not forgetting the big guns from The Seven like Homelander, Firecracker, Sister Sage, and Ryan, we were missing Frenchie in the season 4 fight.
Imagine the show The Boys could present using The Seven's whole force! It could be an epic collision that renders the fight in season 4 seem as a warm-up. The Boys are done acting sensibly; it's time for a really epic team fight.
