Is Robin Weigert Leaving "Tracker" For Season 2?
Tracker is the top network TV Show in its class - people just love it! Season 2 will be a game-changer though because one of the original actors, Robin Weigert is out. What will happen?
So what's the big deal?
You might remember Weigert as Teddi from Season 1. Her role was big and important! She is the handler, or the fixer, who supports Justin Hartley's Colter Shaw character.
There were a lot of great stories from Season 1 but it really wasn't that brutal. They played up all that danger in every episode but not many bad things really happened, and no characters ever died.
Does That Mean Someone Will Die In Season 2?
Maybe! This will be the show's first character death which is wild because it looks like Teddi won't make it. We know that Tracker usually shows those death scenes "off screen" and there aren't a ton of super brutal scenes in this series. This might actually be the reason why Tracker did way better than other crime shows, and the big draw is Justin Hartley's charisma.
But with Robin leaving the show, it just seems more likely that Teddi Bruin will be the one getting the short end of the stick.
Wait, Why Did Robin Weigert Leave?
Nobody has really said. It could be a whole bunch of reasons - some might be personal, maybe it wasn't the right role for her, maybe she has something else going on. That said, Tracker isn’t going to leave things without an explanation in Season 2.
Will There Be More Death?
- Colter actually has a pretty tough life, being the best "tracker" and dealing with murders all the time. Season 1 made it really clear that his work is dangerous. If Teddi actually does go, it means things might get a lot darker and riskier.
Fans can definitely expect big things - maybe an amazing shift to the whole series in Season 2. It was super-popular for its cast so that makes it hard for producers to get everyone ready to make this shift in their story, but who knows - "Tracker" is all about being adventurous - that makes it pretty exciting!
