The Mandalorian Movie Is Coming to a Big Screen Near You!
Buckle up for an exciting update from a galaxy far, far away! You heard that right, The Mandalorian is getting its very own movie - and we finally saw the awesome logo and some behind-the-scenes stuff at D23!
Wait - A Movie?
It looks like Jon Favreau, the amazing creative mind behind the Disney+ TV show, has brought Din Djarin and Grogu, the ultimate duo, to the big screen. They've officially replaced Season 4 and that's making everyone super excited for this!
What About the Title?
- It was "The Mandalorian and Grogu" - not so fancy, but fans knew that one! It’s super common in Disney movie titles, think "Lilo & Stitch." The latest artwork we've seen though is now missing the ampersand and now it is "The Mandalorian and Grogu". That's a small change but could mean a change in the overall story and where the two might be heading!
- There’s also a new design. If you look close, you can see the outlines of both The Mandalorian, Din Djarin, and little Grogu. They made their way into the "O". This seems pretty intentional too, because, in the past, The Mandalorian series always had some sort of silhouette within the title card!
Why are they making this movie?
It's time to celebrate! Star Wars loves those Movies - remember Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was huge. This is gonna be another giant movie and it seems like the creators thought a big screen is a perfect place to share this amazing story!
