FBI: International Needs Consistency Following Cast Exits
Constant cast exits are a major problem across the FBI franchise. FBI: With Katrin Jaeger, Luke Kleintank, and Heida Reed leaving, International alone lost two original stars in season 3. Because Scott Forrester and Jamie Kellett were absent, FBI: International season 3 ran in circles trying to establish its footing. Adding another team leader wouldn't be worth it as Brian had already connected with the Fly Team and even hinted he may return at some time.
Donnell's two-episode narrative in FBI: International season 3 appeared like a test run to determine if Brian developed as a breakthrough character. Though inserting another fresh face at the beginning of FBI: International Season 4 would make it tough to connect to new characters since the show throws series regularity without any thought.
