What ages are Dexter's returning characters in the New Prequel Show on Showtime?
Many of Dexter's key characters are scheduled to resurfaced in the much awaited prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. Through the lessons and direction of his adopted father Harry, the show will follow a college-aged Dexter as he embraces his "dark passenger." The forthcoming Dexter prequel series will follow Dexter's forensics career beginning with the Miami Metro Police Department, therefore resurrecting the original characters of Angel Batista, Maria La Guerta, and Vince Masuka.
Two of the most important characters and family members of Dexter, Debra and Harry Morgan, have also been recast in the Prequel series. For the first time in the franchise's honored legacy, the series will showcase a fresh actor as the fabled titular figure.

During Dexter's first season, Dexter Morgan was 35; actor Michael C. Hall shares this age. The title protagonist was 41 years old when Dexter concluded in 2013. Fascinatingly, Patrick Gibson, expected to play Dexter Morgan in the Prequel series, is 29 years old. Clearly not bothered by the age discrepancy, Dexter's makers seem to be certain Gibson will be able to truly depict a college-aged Dexter.

Debra Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin is about seventeen years old.
In Dexter season 1 Debra Morgan was 26. Given actress Molly Brown's estimated early twenties, it seems Dexter: Original Sin will be adjusting the age difference between Debra and Dexter Morgan in some kind. Brown trying to pass as someone younger than 17, a recent graduate from high school would be absurd. When Harry committed suicide, Dexter was twenty years old. 54-year-old Slater will be depicting Harry in what seems to be his last year of life. Slater will be portrayed for the first time as an actual living figure, hence the Dexter: Original Sin Casting crew looks to be exactly on in selecting him as Harry.
Angel Batista Is Likley 34 Years Old in Dexter: Original Sin
David Zayas initially shown as Angel Batista in Dexter season 1 was 44 years old. Zayas was 29 when he returned to play Dexter: New Blood and 50 during the filming of Dexter season 8. Currently 37 years old, James Martinez will feature as Angel in the Dexter Prequel series. Given Martinez's age—37—it seems doubtful that he would pass as a man in his late twenties.
María LaGuerta is probably 32 years old in Dexter: Original Sin.
Originally portraying María LaGuerta in the seven-season original series, Lauren Valez was 42 years old when she began on Dexter season one. At the end of Dexter season 7, she was 47 and the unexpected death of her character shocked her. Surprisingly 42 years old Christina Milian is the actress playing her in the prequel series. Valez and Milian will thus be the same age when they originally assumed the character of María LaGuerta. Though Milian appears considerably younger than her age, she most certainly won't be able to pass as a 27-year-old in the prequel as is the case with her co-stars.
Vince Masuka, 20 Years Old, Original Sin Dexter
Vince was likewise 35 years old in the first season, same like Dexter Morgan. Alex Shimizu will play Vince in the prequel series; he seems to be in either late twenties or early thirtys. Although the original Dexter Cast members and the new Dexter: Original Sin have very different Ages, the inclusion of Slater and Dempsey should make the prequel popular.
