Paige: "Stories were told. Would we have loved to create a full narrative where Beckett starts seeing Ginny and how creatively the Sullivan/Ross connection is integrated into? Surely!
Clack: There existed a Carina arc as well. Recall when she gathered her belongings and headed into the field? Our initial lawsuit was driven in part by our sincere desire to include her more into the firefighting. She wanted to be out in the field more and pursue an EMS fellowship; she was perhaps just a little bit nervous about medicine and practicing medicine. She was going to gear up like most episodes 8 and then we were going to follow her out in the field and more closely incorporated into the show for Season 8. Though not exactly where we were going to take it, the climax was fantastic what we got.
