McU In New Marvel Art, Captain America as Ghost Rider is Really Terrifying.
Famous digital artist BossLogic, diehard Marvel enthusiast, shows what a Captain America / Ghost Rider fusion would look like in live-action. Whether this Captain America is Steve Rogers or Sam Wilson is left vague, BossLogic's artwork obviously borrows from Robbie Reyes' metallic skull. See the whole work below:
Marvel fan art depicts Captain America as Ghost Rider in the MCU, therefore reflecting his look. From his thin Brooklyn childhood to his renowned status as a universe-saving Avenger, Chris Evans featured as Steve Rogers throughout Captain America's long MCU adventure. Still, many Captain America tales were omitted from the MCU merely because of the length of the comic book character's background. But other great events, like the possession of Captain America by the Spirit of Vengeance, shockingly haven't transpired yet even in the source material.
Why Captain America Will Never Turn Ghost Rider in the MCU
Although it would be interesting to see the Spirit of Vengeance control Captain America in the MCU, such a mix is quite improbable. First of all, Steve Rogers's participation is absurd as by Phase 5 he is either dead or retired. Though Mephisto wouldn't be very interested in utilizing Sam's body as a vessel and Sam Wilson would probably avoid making a pact with the demon by all means, Particularly those who are ready to perform the nasty job themselves, the Ghost Riders often show an interest in people with dubious morality. Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson neither would be suited for that kind of crime-fighting.
Ghost Rider's MCU debut is still years away as of 2024. Whenever a final Marvel film or show features a Ghost Rider, the anti-hero will probably first cross encounters with other mystical figures. Ghost Rider would most certainly meet characters like Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, and maybe Doctor Strange before Captain America. Ghost Rider and Captain America would either cooperate as partners or butt heads depending on their different attitudes to heroics when they finally meet, but they most surely wouldn't think of combining or trading talents.
Some MCU characters who might be possessed by the Spirit of Vengeance instead of Captain America
Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher and Harrison Ford's Thaddeus Ross a.k.a. the Red Hulk are two characters who might be possessed by the Spirit of Vengeance in the MCU instead of Captain America. Although at this time in the MCU these two villains are far from magical, they both have become Ghost Riders in the comics. Otherwise, the MCU can bring in Danny Ketch, Robbie Reyes, and Johnny Blaze among other Ghost Riders.
It would be the ideal moment for the franchise to introduce Ghost Rider now the MCU is exploring other spheres of the Marvel universe.
