Good Times: An Introduction

The sitcom Good Times tracks the Evans family negotiating life in a Chicago housing project. Under financial difficulties, the family—led by parents James and Florida—works to preserve hope and the family intact. Though a lot has changed during the six-season run of Good Times, it is still a classic because of its examination of Black life in America in the 1970s.
