My Adventures of Superman At last Has Its "Amazo".
Though with original twists deviating from the conventional DC Universe canon, the first season of My Adventures with Superman featured several legendary villains. For instance, Parasite changed to be a more tech-based enemy. This world's version of Parasite is Anthony Ivo, CEO of AmazoTech, not Rudy Jones as Parasite's identify. On par with Superman's strength, his business developed an armor able to absorb energy and turn it into raw force. Though all its might had the negative side effect of changing Ivo's physique and transforming him into an out-of-control monster with kaiju-level proportions.
Ivo had a lot in the first season, however he never seemed to have designed an Amazo. The name of Ivo's company was the sole hint of his creation from the comics. Beyond that, My Adventures with Superman seemed to utterly ignore Amazo. But this tie-in narrative has shown that Ivo did at some point make a "Amazo," most likely while working out the kinks to produce his comparable power-absorbing Parasite suit. Now that an Amazo exists in the My Adventures with Superman realm, though, the issue is what will happen to it.
Will Amazo befriend a Superman ally?
This narrative takes place between the first two seasons of the cartoon and thus yet, not anything suggests what happened to Amazo. Maybe it's been simply disassembled or imprisoned. Superman never gives up, though, on someone in need of assistance. Clearly Clark is going to try to save the armor, and he most certainly will be successful. Perhaps the Amazo of this reality will turn from an enemy into a friend, something that can come in handy during next time Superman battles Ivo. Seeing how My Adventures with Superman's perspective on this venerable Justice League opponent develops will be fascinating.
DC Comics now have My Adventures with Superman #1 on sale.
