So you are wondering if John Cena will be back for the epic Fast & Furious finale? We loved him in Fast & Furious and especially his character Jakob Toretto in the movies. Well, we might just see him again, but it looks super tough to imagine John Cena in the next installment -Fast & Furious 11!
What's Happening With John Cena and WWE?
- John Cena had a big reveal - He is coming back to WWE in 2025. It’s gonna be an epic WWE return, and not just one little show! He is in it for the long haul! You’ll see him at the Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber and even Wrestlemania! The guy's got a crazy schedule.
Will That Stop Him From Doing Fast & Furious?
- The truth is, he's pretty busy. It looks super likely that Cena’s time will be taken up wrestling most of the year and leaving only a little time for a John Cena movie project here and there. So, while he is such a great addition to Fast & Furious, we don't see much hope of a Fast & Furious 11 return for him - unless it's for a spin-off!
- Fast & Furious 11 is coming in 2026. They will begin filming in early 2025. It seems he won’t be around at that time.
But Didn't Jakob Toretto Die in Fast X?
This has been a super confusing twist in Fast & Furious history. Cena's character died! Or at least we think he did. We'll have to wait for the Fast & Furious 11 spoilers to find out! We all were surprised with the massive action and Fast X! The good news for fans is that characters have returned before, but there might not be much interest in his character right now! Everyone was pretty hyped about the Fast X cast - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson! Even Gal Gadot is back in the saga! So it might be too packed for John Cena!
Is It Still Worth Watching Fast & Furious 11?
Oh, definitely! The Fast & Furious franchise is legendary for how crazy it gets! Even without John Cena, there are gonna be all kinds of explosions, unbelievable action and crazy chases! That whole Fast & Furious universe has an unbelievable story to tell - those families, all the incredible driving skills, - you don’t wanna miss out on the last installment! Who knows - the final installment could end up creating the foundation for some more Spinoffs after the epic end!
