Will "Lilo & Stitch" Be A Good Live-Action Remake?
Hold on to your ohana - the beloved Lilo & Stitch is about to be back! A new Live-Action Remake of the original animated classic. This has been making some headlines in Disney news and fans are hyped to see how this classic story will turn out on the big screen.
What's Happening with the "Lilo & Stitch" Live-Action Remake?
- Remember when we first saw that trailer for Lilo & Stitch ! We got a glimpse of that blue alien looking really cool in CGI.
- After a few delays, including the Hollywood strikes that really messed things up, this one's back! We will finally be seeing a new Lilo & Stitch Movie and its release date is Summer 2025. So it won't be dropping on Disney+ for now.
Who Will Be in the New Cast?
- A ton of talent. This one has a super strong voice cast. Chris Sanders - the one who voiced Stitch back in 2002 - will be back again! He really does capture those wacky Lilo & Stitch characters! And you can't forget Maia Kealoha who's playing Lilo - super talented kid, so watch out!
- You’ve got to see the list for the entire cast! Some of these big names will be awesome - like Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen and Courtney B. Vance! It’s so amazing - Disney chose to go for newcomers - especially when it comes to the characters who have to do "Lilo & Stitch" acting in Hawaii. They're gonna give this classic movie some great energy!
Will the Plot Be Different?
The producers are staying true to the story we loved. Remember that adorable Hawaiian girl Lilo and Stitch? They are gonna be back and ready for more crazy adventures. Lilo & Stitch , is an intergalactic adventure comedy - we might even get more plot points from those direct-to-DVD movies that were part of the "Lilo & Stitch" franchise.
Should We Expect "Sparky"?
It’s not official. We know the production was looking for a whole lot of cool, new additions. That means that it's totally possible they might bring back characters we know and love from Lilo & Stitch ! Think Sparky! Or those new creatures - those Experiment 221 and Experiment 626! - who will make an appearance. Who knows - that could mean a whole new spin on things.
Even if you already know about the original Lilo & Stitch from the animated film, you still have a lot to discover in the live-action version. There is always more for Lilo & Stitch fans!
