The Pyro Traveler is about to be unlocked soon in Genshin Impact version 5.3 and leaks are suggesting that this might actually be the first version of the Traveler that is worth using!

To date, the Traveler has been able to become Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, and Hydro and these elements were obtained upon exploring various regions. These versions unlocked new powers when the Traveler interacted with the Statue of the Seven but for the first time ever, something unusual has been preventing them from unlocking Pyro powers. That’s until now!

Comparison With Honkai: Star Rail

A leaker, Flying Flame on Reddit compared the upcoming Pyro Traveler to the Harmony Trailblazer from Honkai: Star Rail.

Even though the abilities of these two characters will not be identical, Flying Flame explains this might give fans a real insight as to the powers the Pyro Traveler may have!

The Harmony Trailblazer is one of the main characters from Honkai: Star Rail, similar to the Traveler. What makes it so cool, and so unexpected? She's also able to use all different elements. She’s a major support character!

The Harmony Trailblazer made a huge change in Honkai: Star Rail and the "Super Break DMG" mechanic that made her incredibly useful is something everyone loved! This mechanic could change how Genshin Impact's gameplay happens as well!

Even though it might not be identical. Having a "free-to-play" character that is comparable to a hero in another HoYoverse game brings lots of hope that fans of Genshin Impact are looking forward to.

The Anemo Traveler was among the weakest.
The Geo Traveler was slightly better.
The Electro Traveler didn’t change things.
The Dendro Traveler was a big improvement, and a great support character, spreading Dendro around on the battlefield, creating opportunities for Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Quicken.
The Hydro Traveler was pretty subpar with terrible DPS, as well.

The hope for Genshin Impact players is that Pyro Traveler will change this for good. This might finally make the Traveler a good option to take into battle!
