Do Baldur's Gate 3 Companions Secretly Hate Each Other?
Baldur's Gate 3 is an awesome game, with tons of cool BG3 characters. And it's so much fun choosing those party members. But you might be surprised that, even though you love them, they might not get along very well! There's a whole bunch of secret dialogue in the game, even some really nasty stuff that they say.
What is This Secret Dialogue?
The coolest part of Baldur's Gate 3 is that it gives players so many options for BG3 gameplay, and it really tries to create a living, breathing world where even your party members have relationships. This goes far beyond those BG3 romance options too! The most common way you will see them interact is through those cool conversations in camp - which can actually feel a lot like your party is actually stuck in some crazy working environment!
What Do They Say?
- Imagine you're trying to chat with Astarion, a vamp who is so super sarcastic, - and you use a party member who's not the main character. Well, guess what? He's gonna dismiss them in the rudest way! He's basically gonna say, "I'm not going to talk to underlings." Astarion doesn't like anyone!
- It’s not just Astarion, the others aren’t really friendly either. Karlach is super nice but is pretty quick to tell the other party member to go talk to the main character. Lae'zel - that awesome warrior - might call the character her pet! The whole party gets to be in this weird family unit - there’s just some wild moments in this game.
Are the Interactions Real or Fake?
They seem like a really interesting part of Baldur's Gate 3. If you're playing and chat with them in camp - there are these special moments, and you can see what happens. It’s like Larian is adding a little extra touch - to see those BG3 interactions come alive.
- That being said, it’s a bit of fun from Larian to spice things up - and they just wanted to add more immersion to the game. So, even though the characters do make these kinds of comments, they’re not really gonna be like this towards the whole party.
Larian Studios really went above and beyond to make Baldur’s Gate 3 such a special game. And since this game was inspired by those classic D&D adventures - it just feels so real! With all of its incredible details.
Even though you're stuck in a multiplayer game, you can really make your characters interact! So those party members are so interesting to interact with! The gameplay, the story, the combat - even the characters in the game, are what make it super popular!
