Ultimate Team Mode: College Football Style
EA Sports has finally brought Ultimate Team mode to College Football! You've already seen it in Madden, but now you can build the ultimate college dream team! In College Football 25, you can draft players from any college, so you can create a team with legends from the past and the top stars of today. And yes, you can even include those NFL players before they went pro!
Assemble Your Dream Team
Imagine having Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and CeeDee Lamb all on the same team. In College Football 25's Ultimate Team Mode, this is a reality! You can build a team that reflects your own playstyle and crushes the competition.
Ultimate Team mode lets you experiment with teams that would never exist in real life. You can pair legendary players from the past with today's top talent for some epic matchups! Think Ray Lewis from his Miami Hurricanes days playing alongside Joe Burrow!
Who's On Your Roster?
You'll have access to a roster of current college athletes and a whole bunch of NFL stars. You can even get some of the retired legends! Want Ray Lewis on your team? You can unlock him with a pre-order of the game.
If you don't pre-order, you'll start with a roster based on a chosen college. Then, you can build your team by opening packs and adding players to your roster.
How to Play Ultimate Team Mode
You can play Ultimate Team mode against other players online or against the AI. There are also special challenges to complete for even more rewards!
Building Your Dream Team
- Complete Challenges: Win games and complete challenges to earn coins. You can use these coins to buy player packs and unlock new players. The more you play, the better your team will become!
- Build the Perfect Roster: Every player has specific chemistries that work better with certain other players. Make sure your team is well-balanced and has the right combinations of talent.
- Unlock Special Abilities: Give your players special abilities, such as better throwing accuracy or a decreased chance of fumbles. But be smart about where you use these abilities, you'll want to keep some for your backup players!
- Don't Forget the Wear and Tear Mechanic: Players can get tired from playing, so it's important to have a solid bench. This is where those backup players come in! You'll want to use your Ability Points wisely so that all of your players are ready to go when needed.
Ultimate Team Mode: Madden vs. College Football
Ea Sports has borrowed heavily from the Ultimate Team mode in Madden, but it's not exactly the same. Here's the key difference: in College Football, players are featured on the teams they played for in college, not their current NFL teams. You'll be able to draft a team with Joe Burrow leading the LSU Tigers, not the Cincinnati Bengals.
If you like Madden's Ultimate Team mode, you'll probably enjoy this version as well! If you're hoping for something completely different, you might be a bit disappointed. But hey, more game modes are always a good thing, right?
