What is Valve Deadlock?
Valve's new hero shooter called Deadlock is taking the internet by storm, but it hasn't been officially released, and it's a huge mystery! People are super hyped - especially after it leaked!
What is Deadlock All About?
- The leaked gameplay of Deadlock is pretty awesome. You're gonna fight other players online. They've been really working on making Deadlock unique and kind of a blend between an hero shooter and an MOBA, you get to pick different heroes and team up against other players. It sounds pretty cool!
How Many People Are Playing Deadlock Already?
Well, the official release is still far off. But, the game is so good that thousands of people are already testing it out - even though it's still really early! And some of these people have shared the secrets they learned from that super-early version - we call it alpha or beta.
So When Does Deadlock Officially Launch?
- The official Deadlock Release Date isn't set. But all signs point to Steam being the place to download it when it does drop! This is totally different than what happened with Artifact. That one kind of flopped! They tried to go with the MOBA thing, but Deadlock seems so much better - so many concurrent players, and even tons of players sharing tips and tricks on how they play online! It's crazy!
- Valve might just have found its next super big game. They've been super busy working on Steam and keeping it all up to date, but with so many leaks out, and everyone playing it online already, they will need to make an official announcement soon!
What Does Deadlock Mean for Valve?
It's super weird! Everyone thought they just wanted to make Steam even better and bigger! They've been quiet and we've barely heard any game development news. Well, maybe they were busy secretly working on Deadlock! If you like competitive shooters or those MOBA genre games, it's something to be really excited about!
So When Can We Start Playing?
We still need a Release Date, and they've gotta let us know all about those characters and how the map looks, or share a sneak peek of gameplay! If Deadlock is successful, then we can definitely expect Valve to keep up that live-service model. Remember, they already had Counter-Strike 2, and Dota 2. Now, this would just make Valve even stronger and help them make some amazing games that we'd never want to stop playing.
