My Hero Academia: The Anime Just Saved the Day!
The My Hero Academia manga's final arc is not perfect, y'know? But the latest episodes of the Anime? They've been absolutely killing it! The animation has stepped it up, the music is on point, and most importantly, the latest episodes fixed what fans have been super bummed about with Bakugo.
Remember that time Bakugo was barely alive and some dudes were trying to bring him back to life? It felt like a slow and drawn-out thing in the manga, which had some viewers a little confused. If you already knew it wasn't possible, why was the Anime wasting all that time on it? The anime's approach to Bakugo's resurrection made a big improvement and kept things super compelling and fast-paced! The anime kept the drama but trimmed down the scenes where it felt a little off.
The Anime Saved a Controversial Moment
Here's where fans really got up in arms over Bakugo's return: Edgeshot was the dude who brought him back, and Best Jeanist was kind of...hanging around doing not much? What's up with that? Even though they both worked at UA and should be pretty close, that felt out of place. It was a really awkward moment, and most fans were like, "Dude, how could you do Bakugo like that?" And that's what made the anime's solution awesome. It gave us a short but super meaningful flashback that showed how Edgeshot and Best Jeanist had a good friendship, which was really powerful to see! Fans were into it.
I loved how they fixed things. We get that the manga already gave some characters a lot of importance – but if you really wanted to show us just how tense things were during Bakugo’s revival, you had to do more to convey his pain! And the anime totally delivered! You got this whole bloody, convulsing body and crazy dramatic scene, and you felt just how fragile Bakugo was during that moment, really making it much more emotional.
How My Hero Academia's Final Arc's Being Changed Up!
This entire My Hero Academia's final arc has had people scratching their heads – you know how there's all the drama about Deku becoming a true hero? We got that "dark-side" look from the villain Shigaraki and now he's kinda… like going rogue, doing his own crazy thing, while trying to conquer the world! But it feels a little "all over the place" with the manga's final arc and the pacing. Fans are kinda getting burnt out!
That's where the anime comes in to save the day! When the manga felt kind of weird with the speed and just how things were presented, the anime steps in with slower, more impactful moments, and more of an emotional roller coaster! That really keeps the whole arc from feeling rushed. Now we're seeing all the emotions unfold and how that entire world changes after Bakugo’s “almost-death" and Shigaraki’s sudden takeover – It really brings those feelings and events to life in ways the manga couldn’t!
The "Anime VS. Manga" Debate
Honestly, the whole “anime versus manga” argument? It's been a huge deal, but the My hero Academia team has shown why adapting things from the page to the screen isn’t just a simple process! When you're taking the whole world of the manga and transforming it into this exciting and sometimes dramatic visual format, you gotta do things differently! The My Hero Academia crew has clearly learned what works with their series. They rely on the strong foundation laid out in the manga and elevate it into something special! You get that extra layer of heart and humor with the animation style. That really brings those characters and storylines to life in new ways!
The thing is, some viewers prefer the original source material. No doubt, but I have to give it to the anime team – the way they manage to bring all the emotions, all the dramatic action into play? That's how they really keep the audience's eyes glued to the screen! I guess that’s the key: a strong understanding of what makes the source material awesome and finding ways to make that translate even more beautifully onto the screen. I think My hero Academia has that magic, and they’re proving that both manga and anime can co-exist as different and still amazing! It's an amazing combo that delivers exactly what you need in a great series. I’m totally excited for what’s next in this arc and, more importantly, what the anime is going to do to those incredible and emotional storylines.
