Massively Powerful Green Lantern EKRON by DC Returns Triumphantly

Readers of Kneel Before Zod #7 saw the Kryptonian warlord General Zod locked in a chaotic battle inside a prison ship. Equipped with the Emerald Eye of Ekron, the supervillain Emerald Empress tore havoc across the ship. None else than Ekron himself crashed into the ship before Zod could face the Empress, a massive space-faring head, adding to the chaos.
Driven by a need for his missing Eye, Ekron's head, a potent Green Lantern construct, sought out the Empress and ate her. At last Ekron took back his Emerald Eye and put it back in its proper socket before leaving into the wide open space.
Ekron Regaining His Eye Might Have Big Effects on the DC Universe
Not any ordinary relic, the Emerald Eye of Ekron is a weapon of great power—a fundamental component of Ekron's unbounded might. Originally found as a relic of great power unearthed by the Emerald Empress in the ruins of the planet Venegar, this artifact first surfaced in Adventure Comics #351. Later, the Eye's power was highlighted in Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #1, where it was shown to be almost indestructible and able of influencing a planetary level.
The Eye's return to Ekron has consequences much beyond only the Emerald Empress and her evil plans.
