DC Comics Investigating the Trinity's Origin in New Story
Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are the three biggest superheroes from the DC Universe making up the Trinity. Every hero is an icon in their own right, and together the three of them have a kinship greater than practically any other combination of DCU heroes. Although the three of them are founding members of the Justice League, Diana, Clark, and Bruce are the gold standards of heroes even among their peers. Indeed, the DC Universe boasts many incredible characters, but the Trinity has few if any actual rivals.
The Trinity's first team-up has not only been seen in previous Batman/Superman: World's Finest issues. Previously presented one such tale is Matt Wagner's three-issue miniseries Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman: Trinity. Batman/Superman: World's Finest has already shown a few contemporary team-ups, though, including Bruce and Clark's first meeting and even the Joker and Lex Luthor's initial alliance. Given her significance in both Superman and Batman's existence, it is only fair for the show to examine the initial match-up between the two with Wonder Woman and highlight what makes DC Comics' Trinity the unique combo they are.
The Trinity: A Legendary Group
The legendary Trinity is set to find a fresh source illustrating the three best heroes of the DC Universe coming together. Many stories illustrating Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman's first-ever team-up have been shared by fans. As they embark on their first expedition together, an upcoming comic will review their modest origins.
Including the Zero Hour 30th Anniversary Special #1 and Jenny Sparks' debut, DC Comics batch of August solicitations provided a glimpse of several titles. But tucked amid the requests was a glimpse of what Batman/Superman: World's Finest has ahead.
DC is Reevaluating the Trinity's Working Mechanism
Batman/Superman: World's Finest shines when it shows why Bruce and Clark team together. Still, Wonder Woman is equally important as a Trinity piece and a hero. Presenting what each member of the Trinity offers to the equation and why these three heroes separate out from their counterparts will be best done by giving viewers an updated view of her first team-up with Batman and Superman. Finding out about DC Comics' most well-known trio from this fresh perspective on the Trinity's genesis will be fascinating.
DC Comics has World's Finest #30 Batman/Superman out on August 21st.
DC Universe:
Though the issue generally centers on the exploits of the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel, Batman/Superman: World's Finest #30 by Mark Waid and Gleb Melnikov will feature Wonder Woman. But this problem will allow viewers to see the very first excursion the DC Universe's Trinity ever traveled on from fresh angles.
