In The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul was already a quite cool character. As the brand-new villain to follow the original trilogy, Maul most certainly done the franchise justice; nothing like him had ever been seen in Star Wars. Of course, the famous duel of the Fates confrontation between Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Obi-Wan Kenobi was among the best events the character experienced. But at the time, Maul seemed to be fighting his last since he most likely died after Obi-Wan chopped him in half.
Then, Star Wars: The Clone Wars stunned viewers (and pleased many) with disclosure that Maul had miraculously survived both having his lower torso chopped off and a major fall through a reactor shaft. Respectedly seeking out and killing Obi-Wan for what he had done to him, he returned on the program bearing fresh vengeance. Most notably Emperor Palpatine's in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Maul's was exciting since it brought back a beloved character whose time was cut short in the saga, while some other resurrections were less acceptable.
One amazing Star Wars Cosplay of fan-favorite Sith apprentice Darth Maul resembles something straight out of Star Wars films and TV series and might be the closest thing a real-life Sith Lord might look like. Introduced as the apprentice of Darth Sidious in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, albeit lacking on the list of most potent Sith, Darth Maul is quite horrifying. He also caused a lot of damage, most famously by eliminating Qui-Gon Jinn, among Star Wars' most potent Jedi.
Now one Cosplayer is faithfully reproducing the look of the beloved Star Wars villain in The Phantom Menace. Posted to the cosplayer's Instagram account, the official fandomenace truly captures, down to the very last detail, the Sith Lord come to life. Though first it seemed as though his story ended, this cosplay is also a great reminder of how important Darth Maul has been to the Star Wars universe; his influence goes much beyond the prequel trilogy.
Killing numerous people, including Obi-Wan's startling love interest Satine Kryze, and seizing Mandalore, Maul managed to produce even more turmoil than he had in the first movie of the prequel trilogy. Still driven to murder Obi-Wan, Maul even returned in Star Wars Rebels and made his (apparently last live-action appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story. With these amazing changes to his character, Darth Maul really has one of the best arcs in Star Wars; cosplays like this one show how much adored the character still is in the franchise.
