Rings of Power Theo: Nazgûl or Rohan Founder? Fan Theories Explored!

The Rings of Power, a Amazon series set in Middle-earth, keeps fans guessing about what might happen next. The series has already given us some memorable heroes and villains but Theo (played by Tyroe Muhafidin) remains a real mystery!

The Mystery Of Theo

Theo’s journey is what makes him so interesting. From discovering a mysterious sword, dealing with the loss of his mother, and having moments with some of the big name characters, Arondir (played by Ismael Cruz Córdova), Galadriel (played by Morfydd Clark), and Isildur (played by Maxim Baldry), he is poised to be someone significant in this Amazon Prime series!

A big fan theory is that Theo could end up becoming a Nazgûl! There are a lot of hints pointing to it.

He seems drawn to power and even shows interest in Sauron's (played by Charlie Vickers) dark side!
He has the iconic Orc Sigil Hilt sword which brings back the eruption of Mount Doom!
The sword even marks Theo further adding to the theory of him being controlled by Sauron!

There is a lot more evidence that makes Theo's destiny apparent! He even appears to have a connection between the light and dark side!

His mom, Bronwyn tried to help him stay in the light!

There’s a chance that Theo is meant for great things and that includes creating Rohan! Many believe there is a tie and that even the names hint to what the future may hold. Fans look at Théoden, a king of Rohan, along with his son Théodred!

Then there's a comparison between Bronwyn and Eowyn.
Theo's story seems to have some remarkable ties to Isildur (who founded Gondor).

This may suggest some alliance or signal station development which existed between Rohan and Gondor later.

Arondir used alfirin seeds (simbelmynë) which bring forth blooms in Rohan. This adds to Theo's mother’s loss and what this will signify.

Becoming a Nazgûl looks to be more likely based on his motivations and what he desires!

There is similarity in names.
The idea of Theo being tied to Isildur.
The use of healing seeds that look like the plants at the graves.

Even a third possibility may exist, such as being "King of the Dead!"
