Will We See More of Sam's Family?
Fans have to be so stoked for the new season of Ghosts! We are about to see a fresh set of characters arrive, but most importantly, Sam's dad! He's coming into the storyline! Now that she is managing her B&B with a whole lot of ghosts at Woodstone B&B - and even found time to deal with her Mom's quirky ways - a big development is coming.
Who is Sam's Dad?
- This awesome role in Ghosts season 4 is played by Dean Norris - that's right, he's coming into the world of Ghosts CBS, with his super talent from the sitcom world!
- He's joining the show at San Diego Comic-Con, and everyone is hyped about it!
- This is good for the show because the characters - those spirits who haunt Ghosts mansion, are going to have a great story as they figure out a new dynamic with this new non-ghost.
Why's this so interesting about Sam's Dad?
It's huge! This whole development was brought on from how Sam's relationship with her Mom turned out. And there's a pretty big chance her father is going to help viewers make sense of things.
- Remember how Sam and her Mom reconnected? Her Mom was actually a ghost and she died because of a shrimp allergy!
- But the issue with this storyline was that things just wrapped up so fast! Her Mom basically just moved on. It's not like the rest of the show, with all the other ghosts, and Ghosts Season 1, episode 11 - that episode with Sam's Mom - just had a major development for Sam and her family that didn’t have much substance.
Will Sam Get To Know Her Dad?
Maybe he is there to add some details about what her mother was like in her lifetime! It would be a real game-changer to get more of her story as a mom!
- Since Sam's Mom is in the afterlife - she's already gone, which is super sad - the whole Ghosts series will take on a whole new dynamic, now that Sam is able to interact with her father. Maybe it could even help resolve her relationship with her mom?
What About Sam's Storyline?
So it is gonna be awesome because this new season - Ghosts Season 4 - is totally giving those Ghosts storyline's more of a chance to grow and get interesting. Maybe it could even mean that Ghosts characters could be moving on. If that is the case - with some resolution and more substance, there's gonna be more awesome content for this whole Ghosts storyline potential!
