Is Zenless Zone Zero Getting New Playable Characters?
Hold on to your hats, Zenless Zone Zero fans! The world of this action-packed game is getting bigger. A new update is about to drop, bringing some amazing New Characters. The best part is that they are not your usual good-guy heroes. These are the rough and tough outlaw bikers who make up the "Sons of Calydon"!
Who are these new characters?
- This next patch brings Caesar King and Burnice White - and you get to play as them. If you liked the characters who already are in the Sons of Calydon faction (Piper Wheel and Luciana de Montefio), get ready to meet these new badasses!
- The coolest part about them is that the Sons of Calydon faction were featured way back when the game first came out in that awesome release trailer. The creators wanted fans to get hyped and get curious about this crew from the Outer Ring, even if this patch was really about that other big group - New Eridu Public Security - it was the Sons of Calydon that won everyone over.
- These characters - the members of this Sons of Calydon faction - are totally badass, so the Zenless Zone Zero fans are loving this whole thing!
How is this "Sons of Calydon" faction set up?
- If you love real-world history - the "Sons of Calydon" is a name inspired by an actual ancient Greek city, Calydon, and their "I come, I see, I crash" motto - they're so over the top - is a super obvious nod to "veni, vidi, vici," from Julius Caesar. Talk about an amazing crossover!
- This one makes total sense because Caesar King, their leader - is just that - she's all about power, rule, and is an epic reference to Julius Caesar!
- And then there’s Burnice White! She is so vibrant! Her whole character feels super exciting - and it's a cool detail that they play with "fuel" themes in all her stuff!
When Can We Meet Them?
We are super lucky. The game is about to be revamped with this whole "Undercover R&B" update! You'll find both Caesar King and Burnice White in Patch 1.1, on August 14th, as part of that Sons of Calydon Faction - you get to join this amazing crew!
Does That Mean More Characters Will Be Added?
We are in for some big surprises! There might be more, because in that awesome Zenless Zone Zero release trailer the crew has so many members. It’s just that there are two other new characters that haven't been revealed yet! We are totally going to learn more with that next Zenless Zone Zero update.
