Eden Brolin plays Mia in Yellowstone, and upon leaving the program, a door remains open for her return. Although John Dutton ( Kevin Costner) and the rest of the Dutton family tree will conduct all kinds of murder, theft, and other crimes to keep those who wish to take their land away, they're rather laid back about letting in anyone who wants to work on the Yellowstone Ranch. The ranch has seen many varied cowboys, ranch hands, and barrel racers—some seeking adventure, others escape, and yet others to pursue a lad.
Following Jimmy Hurdstrom (Jefferson White) to Yellowstone, Mia falls into the later camp. Originally a young troublemaker, Jimmy turns his life around once he is hired to work at the Dutton Ranch, where he develops his brand and picks up better team behavior. Daughter of Josh Brolin and Alice Adair, Mia actor Eden Brolin is Her career is quite young; her only other significant performance is on the show Beyond as Charlie Singer. Brolin seemed to have departed Yellowstone, but Mia might come back.
Mia first shows up in season 3, episode 3, "An Acceptable Surrender," when she meets Jimmy at a rodeo where she is Barrel Racer competitor. Jimmy has serious injuries, hence the two spends their first date in a hospital room. At first charming, Mia turns out to be a negative influence since she pressures Jimmy to go back to the rodeo despite injury. Eventually, though, Jimmy makes his way back to the ranch, Mia and her buddy Laramie also travel to Yellowstone for employment.
Mia is a difficult character. Seeing her shape Jimmy into disobeying John right when it appeared like he was on the right road is difficult. Her lover goes against John's desires when she works with her incessant whispering in his ear, and he tries the rodeo once more only to wind up in the hospital. Mia is a problematic character. Seeing her turn Jimmy into a misbehaving student from someone who seemed to be on the right road is difficult. But Brolin presents Mia's dishonesty as natural rather than clearly wicked. Though Brolin plays her with enough empathy to make it seem like Mia could change, she is a thorn in Jimmy and John's side.
John sends Jimmy to Texas and the 6666 Ranch when he sustains injuries once more, hoping he can pick up real cowboy skills. Mia turns down to accompany him and the two separate. Though, Mia still harbours feelings for Jimmy since she attacks her when he returns to Yellowstone for a visit in season 4 with Emily (Kathryn Kelly), a distraught Mia ends up bloodied and in the ground. This humiliation along with seeing a confrontation between Walker (Ryan Bingham) and Lloyd (Forrie J. Smith) results in Mia leaving the ranch and Brolin Yellowstone.
Jimmy has hardly visited Yellowstone since season 4; he only had one credit in season 5 and, according to Jefferson White, there are no official preparations for his comeback since he revealed to Looper what he knew about the future movements of his character. "I wish I had knowledge. You wouldn't be surprised to learn they don't tell me anything, and primarily my duty is to attempt to hang on to the bucking bronco at any one point. Anytime I attempt to imagine what [Yellowstone producer] Taylor Sheridan's going to do, what he really does is far better, and more surprising, and cooler, and more interesting than what I would have guessed. At this time, I have therefore come to know to simply try to hang on." Mia wouldn't return without Jimmy on the program, hence while it's possible, it's also unlikely.
Eden Brolin keeps busy even though she won't be returning as Mia on Yellowstone. She followed her Yellowstone performance to play Riley in Candyland and Jeannie on the TV drama High Desert. These indicate that Brolin is flexible in her work, fitting for genres including horror and comedy, and they are far less vindictive than Mia. Two more movies Brolin has upcoming are an action criminal drama called Land of Grace and a drama about a mystery island called Montauk. She plays major parts in both.
