Could Born Again have a comic book-accurate suit for Daredevil?
Following his cameo appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Cox's Daredevil's appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law sporting the yellow and red Daredevil suit led him to adopt a more conventional red and black costume in Disney+'s Echo. That will not be the costume the hero will wear, though, for the March 2025 Daredevil: Born Again debut. Set images and videos for Daredevil: Born Again revealing the newest Cox's MCU look for his first solo project with Marvel Studios.
Born Again's Cox's Daredevil outfit, under Marvel Studios and in Netflix's The Defenders Saga, is a far brighter crimson than any of his past designs. The Daredevil: Born Again outfit also has noticeably more red. The black of the costume is just meant to highlight the red sections. The black in the upcoming MCU outfit is merely meant to highlight the red portions.
The legendary all-red outfit is worn by Charlie Cox's Daredevil in fresh Daredevil: Born Again artwork.
Charlie Cox sports Daredevil's venerable all-red outfit in new Daredevil: Born Again artwork. Cox was the first major hero from Netflix's The Defenders Saga to crossover and resurfaced under Marvel Studios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Once confirmed in March, 2025's Daredevil: Born Again, the actor will also be the first star from the Netflix Marvel programs to front their own Marvel Studios production. A new series is under development, hence Daredevil's next MCU visit might also provide a fresh new look for the persona.
Artist @artoftimetravel illustrated on Instagram what Charlie Cox in a comic book-accurate all-red Daredevil outfit would look like. On Cox, who wears the hero's traditional "DD" symbol on his breast, the suit looks great. Cox fronting the classic Daredevil comic book suit would be in line with the theme of the upcoming MCU TV series after returning as Daredevil in the MCU sporting a couple of different costumes—including a different yellow and red suit in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Daredevil: What's Next?
A comic book-accurate Daredevil suit could be right around the bend as the MCU loves giving characters fresh attire for every project and, for television series, for every season finale. Cox's Daredevil's MCU series features a big part in the torso that would fit the "DD" emblem from the comics exactly. The Daredevil: Born Again season one finale—which has been confirmed for at least two seasons—will most likely depict Cox's Daredevil sporting the "DD" emblem in a redesigned form shown in set photos.
Born Again, which consists of eighteen episodes, is a spiritual continuation of Netflix's three-season Daredevil series and alters its characters to the MCU's main continuity while creating a new beginning for the superhero attorney, following Charlie Cox's cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
