Attorney Comments Of Mahershala Ali On The Delays Of The MCU Blade Movie: "The Crisest Thing In My Professional Experience"
Shelby Weiser, Mahershala Ali's attorney, briefly discussed the Blade film with her client in a new feature piece on celebrity attorneys by The Hollywood Reporter. Keeping things quick, Weiser revealed how "the craziest thing" she has seen in her career is the state of affairs with the Blade revival, adding the following:
"That deal was in 2019, and they still haven’s shot it, which is basically the craziest thing in my professional experience."
Marvel Studios is always developing, but the Blade relaunch for the Marvel Cinematic Universe is suffering continuous creative upheaval.
Among the several causes of the delay for the Blade film have been the hiring of Yann Demange as the new director and the leaving of Bassam Tariq, the previous director. Furthermore there are problems with the script, which has been rewritten many times. Now expected to be released the Blade movie is September 6, 2024.
The Blade Rebirth
Though many specifics about the Blade revival are yet unknown, the film is slated to be a major MCU Phase 5 component. The idea centers on the half-human, half-vampire Marvel Comics character who guards society against other vampires. Wesley Snipes, who are not part of the MCU, has starred two past live-action film adaptations of The Blade series. The next movie will also include the character into the MCU.
The MCU will probably be much changed by the movie. Given the popularity of the character, the MCU debut of Blade will probably affect the series.
THE MCU
Comprising thirty films and several TV episodes at present, the MCU is among the largest cinematic franchises in the world.
