Abruptio's Cast Combines New & Surprising Choices With a Top-Tier Horror Pedigree
The cast of Abruptio is an interesting and dynamic group of elite performers. Seeing Robert Englund on the cast list as Mr. Salk will surely thrill horror buffs, while innovative horror filmmaker Jordan Peele stars Danny. Marlowe was fortunate to get both performers on board for Abuptio, Englund retiring as Freddy Krueger and Peele still quite picky in accepting assignments as an actor.
Not only are Englund and Peele among the Abruptio cast members who have spent a lot of time in the eerie and graphic domain. Though not strictly horror, Les Hackel actor James Marsters delighted in a long run as Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Hana Mae Lee, who portrays Chelsea, is well-known in part for her parts in the horror comedies The Babysitter and The Babysitter: Killer Queen. Sid Haig of House of 1000 Corpses also joins them, which makes Abruptio one of the last presentations of late horror legends.

Still, the teaser highlights how different the vision for this horror film is, with its own visual language and setting for a suspenseful meeting. Having seen both, be ready to see Abruptio in theatres starting September 27.
The Most Unassuming Cast Member
Still, Christopher McDonald as Police Chief Richter is the most unexpected addition to the ensemble. McDonald delivered up a memorable performance as Shooter McGavin in Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore and has even hinted at a Happy Gilmore 2. McDonald's long credit list includes Abruptio as a rare addition since the actor is not well-known for pursuing horror productions. The actor's casting in the production will definitely surprise fans of McDonald's past work ready to visit Abruptio.
