New Honkai: Star Rail Characters Might Bring a dormant mechanic back in use.
Based on the leak's description, Lingsha and this enigmatic character known as Aglaea seem to be able to awaken a latent gameplay mechanism that has not been utilized too much. Calling an event on the action bar indicates that these two units most likely have some kind of mechanism akin to Jing Yuan's Lightining-Lord, with its own unique base SPD and strikes independently. Should the leaks and the rumors be accurate, gamers could start noticing more forceful yet delayed acts in Honkai: Star Rail.

New Honkai: Star Rail Character leaks hint about returning gameplay mechanic
HoYoverse has announced several fresh Honkai: Star Rail characters; it appears that some leaks concerning them have already surfaced. Following the announcement of various future units, there are new Honkai: Star Rail Character Leaks. HoYoverse's turn-based RPG is about to veer off the main Penacony storyline with Version 2.3 and, despite the end of the main story arc this year, there will be more story content until the start of Version 3.0 and, among that, new companions Trailblazers will meet, as hinted at by a brief and mysterious video at the end of the Honkai: Star Rail 2.3 livestream. Leaks about some of these characters have lately surfaced.
Seven more characters were hinted at at the end of the webcast, including the new March 7th form later confirmed and fully shown by HoYoverse. A few of these units had been mentioned in leaks for some time; today, a leak collection offers only little information on their possible actions. Information gathered by the leaker known as HomDGCat, who posted on Reddit, indicates that two forthcoming characters will have gameplay mechanisms calling for an event on the action bar. These relate to Aglaea, a character under codename, and Lingsha, the verified agent.
Star Rail's Future of Honkai
If this is true, then during team comps players might have a more dependable variation of an older mechanic at hand. Jing Yuan is mostly on having a delayed but forceful action come in later and eliminate opponent weakened by the rest of the party. Should the leaks of Lingsha and Aglaea be accurate, then this could happen more often.
They might even make advantage of the characters that present buff follow-up attacks—like Robin in Honkai: Star Rail. Of course, these leaks should be considered as grain of salt for now.
