Mohg, Lord of Blood Cosplay
This incredible cosplay of Elden Ring boss Mohg, Lord Of Blood is so hyper-realistic that it's easy to imagine Mohg, Lord of Blood appearing in a live-action series. The characters and creatures of Elden Ring are generally so striking because of their outlandish appearances, which makes creating a hyper-realistic cosplay of one of the most sinister so impressive. During The Tarnished's quest through The Lands Between, they'll eventually come across (and battle) the villainous Mohg, Lord of Blood and as his title may lead one to expect, he's a brutal enemy that often causes many players' momentum to grind to a halt.
Following some shocking revelations in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, one player shared an incredible outfit that replicated Mohg, Lord Of Blood's imposing features. Posted to Reddit by creator torypigeon, the Cosplayer showed off their Mohg, Lord of Blood in a regal portrait that highlights the character's monstrous features that contrast against his more elegant robes. While the mask of twisted horns and bone is no doubt the star of the cosplay, special mention must be made for the beautiful textures and detailing of Mohg, Lord of Blood's pauldrons and the lining of his clothes. The post has earned plenty of praise from the community, many of whom have garnered a new found appreciation for Mohg, Lord of Blood since playing Shadow of the Erdtree.
Elden Ring: A Live-Action TV Series?
While Mohg, Lord of Blood isn't the primary antagonist of Elden Ring, the villainous boss does participate in events that largely set the narrative of Shadow of the Erdtree in motion. Mohg, Lord of Blood is known for kidnapping the demi-god Miquella, trapping the character and using his power to eventually become a lord. His actions are largely unforgivable but without going into spoilers, Shadow of the Erdtree does provide some additional context that changes how Mohg, Lord of Blood's actions are framed.
Seeing such a well-realized version of Mohg, Lord of Blood has led some to question whether a game as visually distinct and creative could ever be turned into a live-action series. With lore penned by A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin, it stands to reason that the epic machinations of The Lands Between's deities and rules could make for some captivating television. Even Bandai Namco has confirmed that it views Elden Ring as more than just a Video Game, noting that it plans on continuing the development of the franchise down several additional avenues.
Could Elden Ring TV Series Be A Reality?
Whether or not an Elden Ring television series ever does see the light of day remains to be seen, but the existence of torypigeon's Mohg, Lord of Blood Cosplay should go a long way to disproving those who think it could only take the form of an animated series. Given FromSoftware's history of expanding its games with graphic novels, it doesn't seem like much of a stretch that The Lands Between could receive an even bigger adaptation given the franchise's popularity.
Only time will tell what Bandai Namco is planning.
