Satisfactory Mycelia Guide: Locations, Uses & Endgame Importance

Hey, fellow Satisfactory builder! Are you ready to unlock some seriously cool, high-tech items? To do that, you need to stock up on raw materials. One material in particular? Mycelia!

What Is Mycelia, And Why Is It Important?

Don't get scared off by the name! You won't be creating anything super dangerous with Mycelia, but you'll want a big stock! It's basically a fungus, which gives you something useful!

You can use it for fuel! This allows your generator to run smoothly!
Crafting parts! It seems the whole world in Satisfactory, relies on finding these super useful resources and parts to create your latest contraptions.

Where to Find Mycelia In Satisfactory

Now comes the important part - getting your hands on all the Mycelia you can!

The early levels of Satisfactory are mostly grass and bushes that you can harvest!
You may want to check out some areas like those at the base of cliffs. It's also a good idea to look at cave openings! There's nothing as exciting as getting to explore!
To add to the coolness, keep a lookout, even when it's dark. You see those mushrooms will glow blue in the dark. This will allow you to see them better!
You may want to find that special cave, there's one by those ponds around the area's big cliff!
Be sure to check those mushroom stacks. The large ones, use a chainsaw. You may find they'll have a lot of Mycelia!

What You Can Do With Mycelia:

It's always an amazing moment when Satisfactory helps you unlock new things, giving you new crafting recipes! This happens with Mycelia. There are many cool things to do with it, starting with "Biomass Burners!". You get the energy and use it for more awesome creations!

And, it's only the beginning!

But wait! You will get an extra reward as you are playing through Satisfactory. If you find some, your ADA will start new research that you can use with a Molecular Analysis Machine.

Now, you might want to explore new Research with it!

There's Fabric
An expanded toolbelt! More space for tools will certainly make this fun!
There is the incredible Gas Mask that will give you added protection as well! It will even help you out when there's dangerous gases to go through!
You also get Inhalers for those medical moments. That includes the "Vitamin Inhaler" and "Therapeutic Inhaler"!

Don't think you can do all the research at the same time. They need to be done one at a time. Some items that you'd like to make with it may come later. Like the Hazmat Suit!

This means that Mycelia isn't just a random thing to gather! It becomes important in creating a world that makes you the ultimate Satisfactory builder!

Even though Mycelia may not be in tons of recipes. This material will definitely become important.

Gas Filters are part of the equipment. And that means if you are exploring all those new worlds you'll want these!
The Hazmat Suit needs it.

What really matters for "Mycelia"? The way you collect it is still pretty old-fashioned! It means that "Mycelia" has an importance, and a true value to the world of "Satisfactory." This means going into the game and searching, but with these cool rewards. You won't have to work super hard for them. It's just a chance to enjoy exploring the world of this video game. This super unique survival game will certainly keep you busy.
