FNAF 2 Movie: 9 New Animatronics Confirmed?!

The Five Nights at Freddy's movie was a huge hit in 2023, breaking box office records! But some fans felt it could have been scarier. Well, get ready, because the sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, is promising to deliver more scares and more animatronics in December 2025!

Nine New Animatronics That Could Haunt FNAF 2

The first FNAF film set things up perfectly for a sequel. Now it's time to unleash the terrifying world of animatronics! Here are nine new characters that could be in FNAF 2 and up the ante.

Mangle

Mangle is a messed-up animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. This creepy critter is made of random endoskeleton parts and Foxy's head! Mangle's quick movements and distorted voice could really ramp up the fear in the sequel. In fact, the voice would really help with those creepy, chilling moments! Swapping out Mike Schmidt for the FNAF 2 game's character, Jeremy Fitzgerald might help this be even more impressive!

Springtrap

Springtrap is William Afton trapped in a suit. He's one seriously scary dude from Five Nights at Freddy's 3.The ending of the first movie brought in Springtrap so getting him into the sequel might be an easy win. Springtrap's predator-like hunting style and creepy sounds add great audio horror and is terrifying! Having Springtrap chase down Mike Schmidt in FNAF 2 will really get those scares rolling!

The Puppet

Based on the "My Grandfather's Clock" song playing in the first movie's post-credits scene, The Puppet from Five Nights at Freddy's 2 could show up again. This chilling character is super creepy because he's pensive and cruel! There's even more intrigue. The Puppet's story might revolve around Mike's brother, Garrett.

Grimm Foxy

From Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, Grimm Foxy, is a fiery, broken-down version of the classic Foxy. The creepy sounds from scraping hooks and sharp claws would totally work as an intense, new element that is terrifying. Grimm Foxy's merciless and wild instincts create something that viewers won't forget!

The Daycare Attendant

The Daycare Attendant (Sun and Moon) from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach brings two characters in one! While Sun is cheerful, Moon is terrifying. This could offer a mix of chilling scares, as Moon has creepy acrobatics and uses psychology to terrorize victims.

Shadow Freddy

Similar to Golden Freddy, Shadow Freddy from Five Nights at Freddy's 2 could make a return! Shadow Freddy blends in well and that's why his purple color makes it scary. The character helps William Afton in FNAF 3.This would give him more depth, as this chilling character is completely mysterious!

Ballora

An Easter egg with Circus Baby hints at Circus Baby's Pizza World making an appearance. This could add another chilling animatronic! That’s Ballora! She’s a creepy humanoid robot that will really freak out fans!

The Mimic

The Mimic from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach (Ruin DLC) is incredibly scary and could amp up the fear in the movie. The Mimic replicates voices. With Mike's trauma this could set things up even more for disaster. The sequel is likely PG-13 though. Sadly, that makes The Mimic's appearance more difficult.

Toy Chica

Toy Chica is one of the best FNAF characters! This murderous animatronic is merciless and could be responsible for the infamous "Bite of '87." Adding Toy Chica will not only make things terrifying but could potentially be a great addition!

With so many terrifying options, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will be more intense and gripping for audiences!
