Ghost Rider's SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE unleashes a villain powerful enough to kill all versions of the hero.
The "Spirits of Vengeance" are returning to Marvel Comics, as Ghost Rider forges on in a new series that will debut this fall. According to the solicitations, not only will the iconic Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze appear, but so will Danny Ketch and every other figure with that name, including one who could prove to be the most lethal enemy any of them have ever faced. Spirits Of Vengeance #1 is set to be released in September, probably taking up where Ghost Rider: Final Vengeance leaves off with its final issue in August. Given that the series revolves around the Hood getting possessed and becoming the next Ghost Rider, a lot must happen in the final two issues of Final Vengeance.
The advanced solicitation for Spirits of Vengeance hints that the plot would draw on old Ghost Rider legend to put the fiery Marvel heroes to the ultimate test.

One in particular has a greater connection to two Ghost Riders and is finally ready to expose its fangs after years.
Marvel's next film "Spirits of Vengeance" puts every former Ghost Rider in mortal danger.
[Writer Sabir] Pirzada explained: "The bloody new era for the Spirits of Vengeance begins here, with a shocking ending you won't expect." The press announcement for Marvel's new Spirits of Vengeance series suggests a possible team-up of Ghost Rider hosts to confront an old nemesis. According to the publisher, the Spirit of Vengeance burns through the souls of various Marvel characters, including Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, and Robbie Reyes. In SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE, a resurrected nemesis will hunt everybody who calls themselves Ghost Rider this September!
SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE, written by Sabir Pirzada (Cult of Carnage: Misery) and drawn by an all-star lineup of artists beginning with Sean Damien Hill (Moon Knight: City of the Dead), is expected to be a watershed moment in the Ghost Rider mythos. The series will feature the reappearance of Vengeance, a demonic spirit that acts via ex-NYPD officer Michael Badalino. While Vengeance was an ally for Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze in the 1990s, it appears that things will be different in the new Spirits of Vengeance series: "The ongoing series begins when Vengeance, one of the most notorious entities in the Marvel Universe, returns and embarks on a vicious hunt to take down fellow spirits. As he gains power via slaying, the Ghost Riders will seek fresh power in unexpected places. For fans of the Ghost Rider stories from the 1990s, this return lays the stage for an exciting new chapter in the character's lore. Writer Sabir Pirzada emphasizes the utilization of Badilino's character, last seen in 2021's Ghost Rider Return of Vengeance #1, in a vibrant and hazardous new setting. "It's finally time for Michael Badalino to make his long-awaited return as Vengeance, aided by the likes of Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, and more," Pirzada told Variety. "The bloody new era for the Spirits of Vengeance starts here - with a shocking ending you won't see coming." It appears that Vengeance will be the main villain here, turning on his old companions and laying the stage for a dramatic battle.
Vengeance Hunts Ghost Riders In Fiery New Series
In addition to the return of the character Vengeance, the group of Marvel heroes known as the Spirits of Vengeance will appear to reunite in the book of the same name - at least those who survive their enemy's crusade - as Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, and others fight for survival in the gritty new series. If all former Riders are chased down one by one, Spirits of Vengeance might be the ultimate Ghost Rider storytelling event, one that fans of the character will undoubtedly not want to miss. Spirits of Vengeance #1 will be available on September 18, 2024, from Marvel Comics.
The upcoming issue of Spirits of Vengeance will undoubtedly pique Ghost Rider fans' interest.
