Scarlett Gets Involved with a G.I. Joe Mission in Japan!
Fans of the G.I. Joe Comics will want to check out Scarlett #3! The story takes place in the Energon Universe - that totally changed how these iconic characters interact, with new villains, storylines, and new worlds to conquer!
What is Scarlett's mission in this issue?
We all know about that awesome ninja clan - Arashikage! It's really wild! She has to infiltrate that super ninja clan as an undercover agent and it turns out there's a powerful superweapon hidden in the mix, as well. But it seems like someone, well, maybe Cobra is also going after it! The latest comic even ends with a wild twist.
Why Is Cobra in Japan?
- Cobra has only been around for a while in the Energon Universe - which started up recently - so we still don’t really know much about their plans!
- That helicopter shows up in Japan, but it’s not clear if they want to team up with the Arashikage Clan. Maybe they want to use those ninjas to do something bad!
- Cobra's plans have a focus on taking over the world, and we have seen that the organization's history in the G.I. Joe comics involved some interesting G.I. Joe villains: Cobra Commander - that ultimate evil mastermind, Destro, and that cool ninja, Storm Shadow! So there is a chance that all of these characters are going to work together!
- Cobra really gets its hooks into Storm Shadow - that totally awesome ninja. Cobra Commander gives Storm Shadow a promise. He will reveal the killer of Storm Shadow's master, in exchange for his loyalty. But guess what happens? Storm Shadow goes and becomes a G.I. Joe hero instead.
How Can I Read "Scarlett #3"?
Scarlett #3 came out recently from Skybound, the comic book publishers who totally took G.I. Joe comics to a new level! Fans of the Arashikage Clan should pick up this new comic! You might be really surprised because you can’t predict what Cobra is up to - even in those later issues, the writers kept things so exciting and you never knew what was going to happen!
Will there be an "Energon Universe" for other G.I. Joe heroes?
So far it’s looking great for the Energon Universe. We might get some great new adventures for the entire G.I. Joe crew.
It’s always amazing to see Scarlett - that awesome G.I. Joe character - get her chance to be the star. With Cobra doing a lot of international spy stuff, maybe it will bring some extra exciting chapters!
