Among the biggest comic book franchises, the DC Universe routinely challenges Marvel.Beginning National Allied Publications in 1935, Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson later transformed it to DC Comics. From then, many more comic books, movies, TV shows, and video games have sprung from the brand. 2013 marked the beginning of the most current iteration of the superheroes as Zack Snyder revealed Henry Cavill as Superman. After seeing multiple movies with mixed reviews, DC underwent a soft reboot under James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Deadline reports that Miguel Puga is the showrunner and director of early Blue Beetle Animated Series production for DC Studios and Warner Bros. Discovery. While director Angel Manuel Soto of the film will be executive producing the Blue Beetle series, Cristian Martinez is attached to write it.
Where in James Gunn's DC Universe may Deathstroke initially appear?
While numerous DC Universe Chapter 1 movies might have Deathstroke, it would be most reasonable to introduce him as part of the Teen Titans movie. Among the Teen Titans' primary foes in the comics is Deathstroke. Though the team hasn't had much on film, the Teen Titans drew attention on the live-action TV show Titans on Max, which explored the conflict against Deathstroke.

Though he most likely isn't in The Brave and The Bold, Teen Titans could give him a launching pad to eventually star in a sequel.

James Gunn responds to questions on whether Major League Villain Plans Included
James Gunn might have confirmed that a major Justice League villain is on route into the DC Universe. Gunn's DC Universe is currently under production following the end of the DCEU in 2023, therefore bringing a new era of DC movies and TV shows. It will also feature fresh incarnations of some DC canon heroes and villains since multiple movies and series are under production.
Responding on a Gunn Instagram photo, a fan begged to "please wink if you have plans for Deathstroke, I am waiting for my boy to shine for so long." Not too long after, Gunn answered with a winking emoji likely confirming Slade Wilson's entry into the new DC Universe.
