The Most Thrilling Part of the New Comic Series is the Grungy '90s Awesomeness of the Classic Biker Mice from Mars.
Although one of the most interesting aspects of the new comic is that fans will be seeing a significant portion of Biker Mice from Mars lore that they have never seen before, one could argue that honor goes to the fact that it will keep the original tone and style of the classic cartoon. Though the plot was astonishingly coherent, what made Biker Mice from Mars so popular was the look; this comic promises to remain true to that fundamental quality of the series.
Among all the anthropomorphic cartoon crime-fighters from the 1990s, none were as hip as the Biker Mice from Mars. Melissa Flores and the whole Oni Press crew know that, even referencing Akira, so as they travel forward into unexplored territory of the Biker Mice from Mars' war-torn past, the series itself promises to fit quite perfectly into the established aesthetic of the original show - and fans should be quite delighted.

The cover artwork by itself suggests that this series will be a worthy contribution to the heritage of undiluted, kid-friendly toughery of the Biker Mice from Mars. Additionally, on the cover created by artist Francis Portela, fans can pay a loving homage to another great science fiction animation, Akira, which should thrill them even more about this new Biker Mice from Mars story.
Melissa Flores promises viewers, meanwhile, that the tone of the original series would remain exactly the same, even if the homage to Akira would suggest that the Biker Mice from Mars franchise would go to an unduly dark place given their beginnings.
Though we are dealing with some extremely somber topics, battle veterans who have literally given limbs to try and rescue their planet and losing it nevertheless, their sense of humor and the utter silliness of these plots provided it so much levity that it was still just a really pleasant program to watch.
Though we are dealing with some quite dark themes, war veterans who have literally given limbs to try and save their planet and losing it anyhow, their sense of humor and the pure ridiculousness of these plots gave it so much levity that it was still just a really fun show to watch.
We are most certainly maintaining that in the comics; lot of that is transmitted in the chemistry between Vinnie, throttle, and Modo. Since people appreciated the zaniness of it, there is no reason to go ultra gloomy when one of the reasons Biker Mice from Mars is so popular.
