Kaiju No. 8 broadcasts just on Crunchyroll, available via their app, website, and outside third-party streaming providers including Amazon Prime.
The creators of the show most likely have a rigorous schedule for the new season. Although there might be some delays, it is improbable that the show will be on a protracted hiatus. The earlier remarks made by the showrunner on the trajectory of the season expose a strategy to have the episodes released at a consistent rate.
Though it was nonetheless fantastic to see, Kafka and Hoshina's fight turned out not to be the major event of Kaiju No. 8 episode #8. As expected of Production I.G, the fight between Kafka and Hoshina had very beautiful and flowing animation, all of which brilliantly portrayed how strong Hoshina is meant to be. That was somewhat lessened by Kafka's purposeful holding back to avoid killing Hoshina, but he is still obviously earned his place in the narrative.
Kaiju No. 8 changed gears after the fight to mostly concentrate on denouement, and she performed quite well in that regard. After the gravity of the preceding few episodes, everyone uniting following the mission was fantastic to watch; while it might have been a little quick, Kafka becoming a full-fledged member of the Defense Force was a much-needed payback for his arc, as was everyone being so thrilled for his promotion. Though ideally it won't forget to give delightful character moments like those top priority, the narrative seems to be getting ready for more action.
Between Kafka not wanting to hurt him and Vice-Captain Hoshina's superhuman powers, Kaiju No. 8 episode #8, "Welcome to the Defense Force," swiftly put Kafka at risk of dying when Kafka was compelled into a fight with Hoshina. Though initially slow-moving, Kafka's fast thinking helped him to disarm Hoshina and flee the conflict rather uninjured before returning to the Defense Force. After then, the Sagamihara operation came to an end and Hoshina was left wondering why Kaiju No. 8 behaved so differently from other Kaiju, despite its great might.
Haruichi Izumo celebrated their first assignment by throwing the Third Division a lavish party using his riches and contacts the next day, hence strengthening the team bonding even as they considered what they could have all improved upon. Hoshina declared at the celebration that Kafka was being promoted from cadet to full-fledged member of the Defense Force thanks to his support during the mission. Everyone cheered Kafka's elevation, and later on even Mina sent him some congrats for his work.
Though it should be careful about how Kaiju No. 8 handles it, the ending of episode #8 teasers another major conflict. The Sagamihara arc just finished, thus the narrative could easily use this time for more worldbuilding and character development; but, if it leaps into a new story arc, Kaiju No. 8 runs the danger of making its world seem underdeveloped for the sake of prioritizing action, and that would make it difficult to keep engaged in the plot. Though it's impossible to know how episode #9 will turn out, hopefully it will balance things out.
Previous editions of the show capture the possibilities of the global story. Given the pacing as the main concern, the writers can be seeking for a novel approach to develop the story. This could possibly indicate a change in the direction of the show, but given its action-packed character, the next season most likely will go as before.
Kaiju No. 8 recently completed its major arc, but if the ending of the last episode signifies anything, then episode #9 is going to spare no time in hurling everyone right back into the action. With the Kaiju No. 8 Anime, there is as always plenty to be enthralled with, which fuels much expectation for the release of episode #9.
Coming across almost like Shonen Jump's approach on huge monster comics like Attack on Titan, Kaiju No. 8 has been causing stir among Anime lovers. Starting strong, the show has only gathered steam over time.
In terms of character events, Haruichi had an intriguing one in episode eight. One scenario at the party has Haruichi discussing having difficulties with his father and his family overall, but what's really intriguing about that is that moment wasn't in the manga, which seems to imply Kaiju No. 8 will bring more to some characters who are basically neglected in the manga. Though Kaiju No. 8's present course has drawn some criticism, there is still hope for a lot of fantastic material going forward.
