The most interesting fact for fans might just be that DAIMA promises to be closer to the original Dragon Ball in tone.

Avoiding The Transformation Trope

The Dragon Ball franchise is well known for its epic transformations! From Super Saiyan to Ultra Instinct, the characters have gone through insane power-ups throughout Dragon Ball Z, GT, and Super. DAIMA has the amazing opportunity to bring some variety to the universe and bring a lot of fresh excitement that wasn't around in the early days of the original Dragon Ball.

It seems unlikely that Goku will have any new transformations in DAIMA! This decision alone may become a breath of fresh air.

It would feel pretty strange for Goku to have a super powered form! He didn't even get new abilities in previous series.
If DAIMA came out after the recent Super saga that means Goku's new forms wouldn't make sense.
The creators really do care about continuity and even want a sense of authenticity.

All signs suggest that DAIMA happens before the events of Super, possibly even in a completely different timeline. That might sound very unexpected but the clues show it could just happen!

There aren't any characters from Super appearing.
The character designs are also tweaked

It could change how this series continues! This changes what Goku's storyline looks like. One might argue about this new twist but the existence of other shows and their storyline, didn't change things with the original characters.

A huge part is making Goku a kid again and showing how he and Vegeta along with Bulma were changed for DAIMA. But the series brings so much more back that viewers of Dragon Ball loved!

Goku has to depend on his companions, much like the original Dragon Ball series! All of the amazing cast gets a chance to shine! Their unique talents come together to explore this amazing new adventure.

There's a real excitement around seeing Goku in his kid form (it’s called Mini Goku!). This isn't just nostalgia! This really emphasizes just how powerful DAIMA could be, going to a whole new realm called "the Demon Realm" where so much waits to be uncovered!

DAIMA As A True Successor

DAIMA has the capability to be the first true successor to the original Dragon Ball and what makes this more interesting is that it avoids focusing just on those classic transformations that fans grew tired of! The story appears to have gone to that unique spot! The world of the Dragon Balls gets to really return to the series that started it all. Fans may find some similarities such as that travelogue, classic adventure style of the series!

We know it's got Goku going on adventures with friends and we know that Akira Toriyama, the legendary creator wanted that early Dragon Ball vibe for fans!

DAIMA could certainly become one of those shows that everyone anticipates! A must watch! A really amazing tribute to everything Dragon Ball which includes some surprising action! A whole new look to Goku's life and many exciting journeys that have never before been shared for everyone. For DAIMA there is plenty that is expected with the huge conspiracy for fans!
