Jack Reacher Movies by Tom Cruise Now Available on Netflix
A couple of Tom Cruise films lately added to Netflix could be the ideal fix for those for Reacher season 3 to arrive. Reacher season 2 battled to match the success of season 1, but the show is still a guilty pleasure for many. Viewers are yearning more adventures with Jack Reacher, the former Military Police officer and vagabond, with the approaching third season.
Reacher's Season 2 Termination
With the Jack Reacher book series providing a great range of stories, the ending of Reacher season 2 leaves viewers with lots of more experiences to discover. For those who would rather stay to screens, though, Netflix has acquired a pair of underappreciated action thrillers with another perspective of the familiar figure.
Jack Reacher: Tom Cruise's Films
Recent arrivals on Netflix are Tom Cruise's two Jack Reacher films, 2012's Jack Reacher and 2016's Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. For lovers of the Prime Video series, these films provide an interesting experience even if their critical reception is not as high. Although Cruise's looks does not exactly fit the character's description from the books, his portrayal presents a keen and skillful soldier of fortune.
Jack Reacher: A Solid Standalone Adventure
Jack Reacher is the better of the two films based on the 2005 book One Shot. Werner Herzog plays the villain with great performance; Robert Duvall gives a fantastic supporting character; and Rosamund Pike presents a usually outstanding representation of the hero's love interest. Known for his subsequent partnerships with Cruise in the Mission: Impossible series, director Christopher McQuarrie offers Jack Reacher the same quick pace, keen wit, and creative action sequences.
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
Based on the 2013 book of the same name, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is a sequel that, although well-reviewed in portions, did not follow the same success as its predecessor. With a vast archive of source material, Prime Video's Reacher series may never reach any of these novels even after Reacher season 3 ends.
