Tracker Season 2: Colter Shaw's Team Gets a Secret Upgrade!

Tracker Season 2 Premiere: A Sneaky Hint at Colter Shaw's Expanded Team!

Hey, Tracker fans! CBS's hit show is back for season 2 (airing October 13th!), and the premiere had a seriously cool, sneaky little detail that you might have missed.  It hints at something HUGE—Colter Shaw’s (Justin Hartley) team might be getting way bigger!  Season 2 has those classic Colter Shaw adventures.  Colter's tackling organized crime, racing to save a family, working with Reenie Greene (she's running her own law firm after season 1) and her partner Velma Bruin, (replacing that amazing yet departed Teddi Bruin, played by Robin Weigert). But those are not the only characters which will impact that narrative!

The season 2 premiere cleverly shows that Reenie's firm isn't done expanding – hinting toward several major narrative changes involving many more characters!   Those characters however remain secret; and those developments are completely unseen. However; the article reveals one important clue: We’re diving into why this little hint matters!

That scene in the premiere “Out of the Past” lays it out—Reenie plans on expanding "Law Offices of Greene & Associates". The problem is it only consists of her and Velma for the moment! This entire reveal emphasizes those clever choices that were uniquely hers; yet when Colter calls that out, she remarks "They will be determined." which only creates that much bigger expectation and hint that an entirely new crew might just appear in unexpected and potentially thrilling and unpredictable ways.  It cleverly suggests these associates—Reenie's new hires will help Colter too, since they will ultimately work with those already associated in various, creative, surprising ways.

To help clarify, Colter's team was pretty small before those expansions, made up of several key individuals, each performing uniquely necessary skills and roles.    This included Velma (that main case handler), Bobby Exley (the tech expert), and Reenie (the legal brain). Even this relatively small number proved highly efficient in resolving the main mysteries and narratives provided.   This already successful structure and core team which works well highlights how smart adding even more people would be. And getting this larger crew benefits Colter —and Reenie (whose legal practice is going to greatly expand!), providing added resources for success and demonstrating how larger resources greatly affect both quality and impact.    This also highlights a very key element missing in previous episodes.

That little detail about expanding Reenie's firm isn’t simply some irrelevant fact that exists randomly in this world – it is crucial because this is likely what might allow and make this plot possible! We see Colter's team is growing and the overall intrigue involved in those potential, entirely new members are entirely possible! It sets the stage for awesome future episodes.

While Tracker’s relatively short runtimes may imply less exploration into plot points; the unexpected clues involved demonstrate how this isn’t the case: this subtle and easy to miss hint of possible additions greatly affects audience's anticipation, generating additional levels of intrigue regarding future potential in future installments.   So buckle up for season 2—it's gonna be big, especially as new team members might start working for Colter through this unique strategy of expansion by bringing on an entirely new set of helpers, ultimately growing Colter's capabilities and possibilities for future work and cases.
