The return of Obi-Wan Kenobi in his own miniseries, "Obi-Wan Kenobi" had fans worldwide totally pumped! But after the limited series wrapped things up for viewers, what happened to the series? A series with a huge fanbase, it’s apparent that Deborah Chow is ready and looking to jump into season 2. Even though, as she pointed out, there were big plans, as the initial "Obi-Wan Kenobi" miniseries was originally intended to be a one-off, giving it a powerful, full arc!

The series has had its fair share of turbulence. Even Lucasfilm's head, Kathleen Kennedy wasn’t sold that the series had a great reason to make a new season. With an immense number of new TV projects and films, she had some apprehension, although there has been a shift!
