MCU Star lacks time for a fake Avengers: Secret Wars comeback news.
Although Avengers: Secret Wars won't premiere for three years yet, the rumor mill has already turned out many Marvel stars for the crossover event. Though an Avengers project has clear appeal, Anson Mount, actor of the tragic Inhumans TV drama, has rejected recommendations that he will once more play Black Bolt.
Mount responded to a purported MCU "scoop" confirming that the Inhumans cast would return for Avengers: Secret Wars with humorous venom on X.com: "My only return is the [TV] show I'm working on right now. Rumor has it that I will be Black Bolt in "Secret Wars". Given that it was such a difficult period, perhaps I am a little sensitive about that; so, I only wish to clear the record. That is not occurring. Previously returning as part of the multiversal Illuminati squad in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds star may have to wait a little bit longer than Secret Wars for anybody expecting to see him in the MCU once more. With Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parkers, the original X-Men cast, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool all claimed as scoops, the Inhumans are merely the newest Marvel characters tied by the fanbase to Secret Wars.
Anson Mount Has Past Talk About Returning To The MCU
He might have blocked this particular "leak," but Mount has already discussed the likelihood of Black Bolt coming to the MCU. Actually, he went so far as verifying to Radio Times that some conversations had already occurred. Mount was fairly clear on the likelihood of a comeback in a future MCU film: "If the answer was yes I wouldn't be able to tell you, but the answer is no, so I can. I've had some casual talks with Marvel's powers [at], but they have their present phase they must follow. We will see; I'm not sure. I would like to do it once again and leap back into the cowl. Black Bolt is a great character.
Though Multiverse of Madness left his multiverse variant definitively dead, Mount has spoken to Marvel's "powers" about perhaps returning. Still, the multiverse is the ultimate loophole. It is maybe shocking that his past remarks have sparked rumors, and Secret Wars would be the most rational choice among Marvel's acknowledged projects.
Marvel Studios has revealed its ideas for Avengers 6 titled Secret Wars, but what is this huge event that will affect the MCU?
Set to constitute Phase 6 of the MCU, Marvel Studios has previously revealed the storyline for the next Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Following 2012's Avengers Assemble and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel has now twice produced two Avengers films back-to-back. While the first series of films concentrated on gathering the perfect band of heroes, the second set of Avengers Movies will depict the heroes dealing with the aftermath of the universe, already being built up in the MCU's present Phase 5.
The greatest enemy the Avengers face, Kang the Conqueror, is even more strong than Thanos. The first movie in this two-part series will set the foundation for Secret Wars, which will see the Avengers at their lowest and unite every MCU hero. This will be epic and the last struggle for the future of the cosmos.
The Inhumans: Superhero Television Series
Inhumans is a Superhero television show based on the same-named comic book first produced by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Designed by Scott Buck and including Anson Mount, Ken Leung, and Serinda Swan, the show chronicles Black Bolt, Karnak, and Medusa among a group of Marvel Superheroes known as The Inhumans. The heroes struggle to protect the planet and each other.
Though it had some excellent points, the show was both a commercial and critical bust. Though the show had a little rough around the margins, it presented a fresh take on the Inhumans. Its minimal success, however, was evident; it was shelved following one season.

The Evolution of Underground Wars
Though most of the present active heroes in the MCU will most certainly play some role, none of the Avengers: Secret Wars probable cast has been revealed yet. At least that's the presumption guiding most of the internet conjecture. A big cast and plenty of fan-service comeos seem natural given the multiverse idea and the original Marvel Comics Secret Wars event.
The MCU is still developing the multiverse idea, hence there are many opportunities for which characters might show up. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Loki, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are among the most recent MCU productions that have already shown how the multiverse is starting to affect the MCU and this tendency is most likely to continue. Finding which characters the writers choose to feature will be fascinating.
