Could the second Fallout Season's monsters be tunneling towards us?
The ending of Fallout Season 1 saw Los Angeles to New Vegas the action migrate. From the video game Fallout: New Vegas, New Vegas is a post-apocalyptic town with own set of mythology and people. Though we know Fallout Season 2 will incorporate these components, how exactly? Will the show expose us to novel, frightening species? Well, a monster hitherto unseen in New Vegas might make its terrible debut!
The Tunnelers Might Appear in Fallout Season 2
Introduced in the "Lonesome Road" DLC for Fallout: New Vegas, the Tunnelers are mutant humanoids dwelling underground. They were liberated in the game when nuclear bombs created earth cracks. Though they never directly threatened New Vegas in the game, one character—Ulysses—made a terrifying prediction: the Tunnelers were just "years" away.
Fallout Season 2 depends much on this forecast. The show takes place 15 years following the events of Fallout: New Vegas, thus it would exactly coincide with the arrival timeline of the Tunnelers. The show might present the Tunnelers as fresh enemies!
One major threat to New Vegas could be the Tunnelers.
The Tunnelers might simply be a one-time hazard in Season 2. They would be a great addition, but other terrible characters worth investigating abound. Still, Ulysses's alert on the Tunnelers was rather severe. He hinted they might attack the Mojave wasteland, the site of New Vegas. Should that occur, the Tunnelers might be a constant threat all through the season!
Imagine: countless Tunnelers emerging from the ground attacking New Vegas and its population. That would provide Fallout Season 2 with a quite amazing and terrible addition. We shall have to wait to see whether this eerie forecast comes true!
