Now, don't get your hopes (or fears) up! It's not like "Wednesday" will morph into something totally violent or bloodthirsty (especially with all those kids watching). But the vibe, they say, is getting scarier. You already know this guy is awesome with his macabre designs and that distinctive "Tim Burton vibe"! This could mean some of the wildest visual aspects we haven’t seen in "Wednesday". We're ready for anything.
"Wednesday" Season 2 Will Still Be Spooky - But It'll Also Have Heart.
It's safe to say that everyone adored the first season. It did a super fantastic job of finding that sweet spot of mystery, family-friendly drama, and all the creepiness you'd expect from "Wednesday" and the Addams Family. But Jenna is right, that kind of light teen romance felt like a slight step away from who "Wednesday" actually is as a character!
I’m glad Jenna isn't trying to squeeze in some romantic plots when the core story about "Wednesday" is her incredible talent for unveiling mysteries and having a really good time using dark magic (don't we all have a little magic in our lives?). Season 2 will embrace Wednesday's independence, so that she's truly getting to embrace that special spooky aura - even scarier and a bit more complex as she fights her own evil. We're in for a good show and this series will really dive deep into what makes Wednesday so much fun and fascinating!
Season 2: Filming, Cast, And Some Sneak Peeks
Filming is underway already for Season 2 – all the way back to May 2024! The cast list includes some major players: Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, and Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mustafaa, and Georgie Farmer, all coming back to give you all those "Wednesday" thrills! Plus, Jenna, she's serving as an executive producer this time! No surprise there!
