Coward, the first series in the Criminal comic book, centers on Leo Patterson, a pickpocket engaged in an armored car theft that turns out to be far more complex than first seems. Richard Jenkins is portraying Ivan, the best friend of Leo's father who serves as an uncle figure to him, even if Leo's exact position is yet unknown. Ivan, a former criminal and robber, is suffering with dementia and as Leo tries to look after him, he rapidly finds he is much more than he can handle.
Arjona will, on the other hand, portray Greta, a sharp-witted and very competent vehicle thief and driver and the widowed mother of Angie. Greta has battled to leave the criminal life behind her since her husband was killed in a failed bank robbery, but with one more great score she thinks she can at last start a new life. Arjona is a fantastic fit for Prime Video's Criminal since she has developed a reputation for Action and crime dramas from her recent roles in Pacific Rim Uprising, 6 Underground, Marvel's Morbius, True Detective season 2, and Narcos.
