John Cena's animated-live action movie "Coyote vs. Acme" was canceled by Warner Bros. Discovery. The movie was intended to be a Looney Tunes-themed comedy, where Wile E. Coyote sued Acme, but it was shelved as a tax write-down, alongside "Batgirl" and "Scoob! Holiday Haunt." Cena expressed disappointment, but acknowledges it was a business decision.
In a statement, Cena said he invested "heart and soul" into "Coyote vs. Acme" and hoped it would be given a chance to be released. He stated, "I have to believe in the process. And I love the movie, my heart and soul is in there, but it's somebody else’s project to do what they want with and they’ve chosen accordingly."
