Rumer Willis's most recent update, however, is a significantly more upbeat one about Bruce Willis than viewers were given last year from Moonlighting producer Glenn Cordon Caron. He's really wonderful. Actually, I saw him just before I left New York. And [daughter] Lou was walking over to him and it was quite lovely since she was only beginning to walk a little bit. It's very great since, through and through, I feel my dad is just like a girl dad. It almost unlocks that kind of small-kid, girl-dad behavior. He is quite lovely with her. If it can have any effect on another family that is struggling in any form with something like this or bring more attention to the disease in hopes of finding a cure or anything that can be of use to anybody else, I think our vulnerability and openness as a family about what he is going through to me is quite important.
Rumer's account of Bruce Willis's affection for his granddaughter Lou and his "unlock" of the "little-kid, girl-dad thing," is quite touching.
